Raffaele Florio
Dr. Florio is the founder of both the Public Heritage Institute and the Regis College Master of Arts in Heritage Studies for a Global Society program. He has a BA in Social Science from Rhode Island, an MA in  Medieval and Renaissance History from Providence College, an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Brandeis University, and a PhD in Culture, Language, and Memory from Salve Regina University.


Kate Edney
Dr. Edney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and current Graduate Program Director for the Heritage Studies Program. She teaches courses in American history and museum studies. She earned her PhD in American Studies from Michigan State University, and her MA in American and New England Studies at the University of Southern Maine, Portland. Her research engages with representations of race and ethnicity in American musical theater.
